Providers Get Started Using ChronoRecord

The ChronoRecord Association is a non-profit organization.  A one-time administrative fee is collected when the patient registers.  The fee is waived if the patient cannot afford to pay.

Providers can choose to participate in the ChronoRecord Association or not.

ChronoRecord Association Participants

Providers who choose to participate in the ChronoRecord Association must:

  • Be a qualified medical practitioner.

  • Have each patient sign an informed consent form.

  • Agree to provide data collected from patients with the ChronoRecord software for inclusion into the Association database several times a year.  The ChronoRecord software program includes a function to automate returning the data in an encrypted file.  All patient identifying information will be removed before data is included in the ChronoRecord Association database.

ChronoRecord Association Non-Participants

Data from patients whose providers choose not to participate in the ChronoRecord Association will not be included in the ChronoRecord Association database.

ChronoRecord Usage Options

  • Service Provided by the ChronoRecord Association

  • ChronoRecord Association staff will send each referred patient all of the required software and documentation.  We will enroll and train patients over the phone.  Each month, patients will e-mail their mood data directly to the Association.  As soon as the data is received, we will generate the patient mood charts send them by e-mail to both the provider and the patient.  All data and charts sent to the provider and to the patient will be encrypted for security.

This service is available in the US and Canada only.

    Requirements:
The patient must have e-mail in addition to a home computer to run the ChronoRecord software. The provider must have e-mail.

  • Service Provided by Practitioner

  • The provider will receive ChronoRecord software and documentation.  ChronoRecord software consists of a portion that runs in the provider's office to enroll patients and print charts, and the patient data collection software that runs on the patient's home computer. A system administrator will be required to enroll and train patients, print mood charts and perform other administrative tasks such as data backup.  The provider will be responsible for new patient training. Training for each patient takes approximately 30 minutes.  Documentation and training materials will be provided for both the patient and the systems administrator programs.

    Requirements:
The provider must have a computer system to run the ChronoRecord Administration software.  The provider must designate a ChronoRecord System Administrator to be responsible for patient enrollment, training and other administrative tasks.  Each patient must have a home computer to run the ChronoRecord software.
